Power to the yogis! This workshop is all about building strength through yoga. Yoga not only increases your flexibility, it's also a great way to build functional strength, mobility and control in the body.
We will use a combination of both static and dynamic yoga poses and bodyweight movements from other disciplines to learn to control the movement of our body through space, and apply this body strength and awareness in fun transitions on our yoga mat. This is a complete body workout, with specific focus on core, arm/shoulder and leg/hip strength.
This workshop is for anyone wanting to increase their strength, without having to use any equipment, even if you are new to yoga. Yoga practitioners and teachers will learn how to incorporate more strengthening movements into their own practice and classes, and how to use this strength to explore more advanced poses and transitions.
Fee: 300 ZAR online booking or 350 ZAR at the door
